FORMAT & CUT INFORMATION
This championship is a two-day 36-hole stroke play competition. There is no cut.
CHAMPIONSHIPS AND TEES
Players will compete in one of the three championships being conducted concurrently at Seven Oaks Golf Club:
- 77th NYS Boys' Junior Amateur Championship - Black Tees (6,950 yards, Par 72)
- 62nd NYS Boys' Sub-Junior Amateur Championship - Maroon Tees (adjusted to ~6,000 yards, Par 72)
- 56th NYS Girls' Junior Amateur Championship - White Tees (adjusted to ~5,600 yards, par 72)

REGISTRATION
It is requested that players register in-person at Seven Oaks on Monday, July 22. At registration players will receive important information for the event, receive their tee gift, and have their profile picture taken for online scoring.
If a player cannot register in person on Monday, please register by calling Deb Spilman, NYSGA Administrative Assistant, at (315) 471-6979.
PRACTICE ROUNDS
Practice rounds are available on Monday, July 22. A player may schedule his tee time by selecting "Schedule A Practice Round" under the "Player Info" menu option (players will be emailed when this option becomes available).
DO NOT CONTACT SEVEN OAKS TO SCHEDULE A CHAMPIONSHIP PRACTICE ROUND.
CADDIES
The use of a caddie during the practice or championship rounds is not permitted. Spectators, including parents, must not give advice to players during their round. A breach of this Rule may result in a penalty to the player.
GOLF CARTS
The use of a golf cart during the practice or championship rounds is not permitted.
PUSH CARTS
The use of push carts is permitted.
DRIVING RANGE
The driving range will open by 8:00am on Monday, July 22 and daily at 6:30am beginning on Tuesday, July 23. Range balls will be provided compliments of the NYSGA.
Note: The driving range is located north of the clubhouse on East Lake Road. Players are responsible for their own transportation to and from the range.
SPECTATORS
Parents, siblings, friends and other spectators are welcome to attend this championship. Spectators are expected to maintain a reasonable distance (approximately 20 yards) from players and to always walk ahead of the group they are following. Spectators should avoid interaction with players during the round, as a player may be penalized if a spectator is considered to have given the player advice.
HANDICAP CART REQUEST FORM

FOOD SERVICE
The club's restaurant (cash/credit) and halfway house (cash only) will be open throughout the championship. Breakfast will not be served.
ON-COURSE WATER & SNACKS
Water bottles and fruit/snacks will be provided on the golf course for players only.
CONTESTANT LUNCHES
Lunch will be provided for all contestants on Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00am until 3:00pm. Contestants must check-in at the registration table at lunch to receive this complimentary meal. Lunch will be served in the Seven Oaks clubhouse.
Lunch for spectators and caddies must be purchased off the restaurant's menu.

CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION AND LOCAL RULES
Listed below are several important Conditions of Competition and Local Rules for this competition.
- Notice to Players: Please check your starting tee for the Notice to Players and NYSGA Hard Card.
- Conforming Clubs and Balls: Visit the USGA website (www.usga.com) for a list of approved golf balls and drivers for the competition.
- Distance Measuring Devices: Are permitted.
- One Ball Rule: The “One Ball Rule” will not be in effect.

DRESS CODE
The NYSGA will strictly enforce a tournament dress code with no exceptions. Collared shirts/mock turtle necks are required, and no jeans, denim, jogging outfits, or sweat pants are permitted. Shorts or pants may be worn.
PLAYER CONDUCT
Players and/or their guests must conduct themselves in a reasonable manner at all times. Any excessive display of anger, vulgar language, club throwing, alcohol abuse, illegal drug use, lack of golfing etiquette or disrespect to a fellow player or any other individual may be grounds or disqualification from any tournament. The NYSGA reserves the right to revoke a player's tournament entry, without a refund, at any time for conduct deemed inappropriate or damaging to the NYSGA.
